The unique MIFARE RF (radio frequency) non-contact interface standard of Mifare 1 radio frequency card has been formulated as an international standard: ISO/IEC 14443 TYPE A standard. The standard operating distance of the radio frequency card is 100mm (with MCM500 as the core module of the reader) and 25mm (with the MCM200 as the core module of the reader). The communication rate with the card reader is up to 106Kbit/s. Mifare 1 IC smart (radio frequency) card has advanced data communication encryption and two-way verification password system; and has anti-overlapping function: it can process multiple overlapping cards overlapping within the effective working distance of the card reader antenna at the same time . Mifare 1 IC smart (radio frequency) card communicates with the reader using a handshake half-duplex communication protocol; there is a high-speed CRC coprocessor on the card, which complies with the CCITT standard. The card has a unique card serial number when it is manufactured, and there is no duplication of the same two MIFARE cards.
The built-in 8K (bit) EEPROM storage capacity on the card is divided into 16 sectors, each sector is divided into 4 data storage blocks, and each sector can be managed by a variety of passwords. The card also has built-in value-added/decremented special mathematical operation circuits, which is very suitable for ticket checking/toll collection systems in industries such as bus/subway. Typical ticket checking transaction time is no longer than 100ms (0.1 second) (including card authentication, reading of 6 sectors (768bit, authentication of 2 sectors), writing operation of 2 sectors (256bit)).
The data on the card can be read and written more than 100,000 times; the data retention period can reach more than 10 years, and the anti-static protection ability of the card can reach more than 2KV.
